This short-sleeve, black wool shirt is from Junya's debut menswear collection S/S 2002. It features one of the iconic "poems" printed on the back in white. The poems were written by Watanabe's design team when asked for their thoughts on love, morality, & society. These genuine feelings were then translated from Japanese to English and used as decorative text prints throughout the runway.
