These hybrid pants are from A/W 2005 "The High Streets," arguably Number (N)ine's most famous collection. These bottoms have a rebuilt construction using side striped slacks for the waist/upper legs, and factory distressed French terry cotton for the lower legs. The hybrid clothing from "THS" represents a literal and symbolic fusion of traditional and countercultural lifestyles, a common theme in Miyashita's work.
